Tent Season is officially underway!

Double-header this past weekend! It started at the lovely Sunbeam Lenape Park in Frenchtown for the opener of the Frenchtown Farmers Market season. It’s a wonderful chill vibe, in a great location, and there are absolutely wonderful vendors there. I got an ounce of YAK FIBER! Who could imagine that I’d find that there? (If you don’t know, it’s one of the lightest, softest, and warmest fibers on the whole planet, and there are very few folks raising & combing yaks for their fiber.) I don’t spin much anymore, but that kind of fiber is a great insulator in mittens, gloves, and the toes of winter boots!

Sunday, we returned to my beloved Lunar Faire at Vasa Park – reunited with friendors (vendor friends) from last season & got my first rude reminder of vending at night being a whole other world, ha ha. Half of my lights weren’t working, and I managed to cut a gash into my right thumb, BUT it was still a kickass event, with many returning customers (who all got hugs), and it was a great time.
